How do I enter into the Nations Hottest Choreographers contest?
To enter into the monthly contest you must go to the link at the top of the page on the menu bar and click on the link. Once you are there you will be prompted to sign up for the competition.
What does DOAN mean?
It is an acronym for Dance of all Nations website.
Can I enter into the competition without joining the site?
No, you must be a member of the DOAN"S website to benefit from the competition and other exciting components of the site.
What is D.O.A.N UNIVERSITY!
Doan University is where choreographers and dancers get tips and advice from certified dance instructors and professional performers. It has everything from blogs, articles, weekly tips and advice that you can use to become a better choreographer or dancer. Come in and be all you can be at DOAN University!
What are Dance Groupies?
Dance groupies are other dancers and choreographers on the site that may view your videos and if they like what they see they can sign up as one of your Groupies. If you get over ( 50)dance groupies in a month you can win D.O.A.N’S most popular dancer/choreographer of the month. The winner for that month will have their title on the main page of the site for a month. Dancers/choreographers has no limit on the amount of time they can be nominated.
What do I do if I forget my password?
You can go to the home page and click NEW PASSWORD at the top right corner of the site. You will also see the NEW PASSWORD option at any sign in/sign up page. If you are still having problems contact D.O.A.N. via email and we will respond in a reasonable manner.
My account is no longer active. What happened?
After 90 days of inactivity your account will deactivate. You will have to contact D.O.A N in order to have your page reactivated.
How do I become a blogger for the site?
Contact D.O.A.N via email and request you would like to be a blogger. Your account will have to get switched to blogger. D.O.A.N are always looking for good bloggers so come with your best work!
Some one in my Dance Groupie list is harasing me. What should I do?
Report this person as soon as possible to D.O.A.N. The dance groupie option should only be to compliment a dancer video. Sexual, indecent behavior is not allowed on this site.
My video does not have a thumbnail. Why?
This is currently an issue when a user upload a video from another video sharing source such as You Tube. When a video is uploaded from a personal video camera/phone it usually adds its own thumbnail. We will look into this issue though.
